This is a small poem I wrote about Jimmy and Coop's relationship in the Cold Case episode Forever Blue

A forbidden love,
Doomed but still hopeful
Pleading, begging, desperate
A kiss that only the moon and stars knew of
A relationship spoken with more then words
Fear, prejudice, anger, death, regret
A relationship that died before it really lived
Last words spoken with desperate resolution
"We were the lucky ones, don't forget that."
